TALL TIMBER CIRCUIT APPALOOSA SHOW
GENERAL RULES
STARTING TIME SHALL BE 8:00 A.M. EACH DAY
1. THE RULES GOVERNING THE INDIVIDUAL CLASSES AND THE FORMULA FOR JUDGING PERCENTAGES USED WILL BE FOUND IN THE CURRENT APPALOOSA HORSE CLUB SHOW RULE BOOK (OPEN, YOUTH AND NON-PRO SECTIONS).
2. While in competition, all exhibitors shall wear correct numbers on their backs or both sides of saddle pad, clearly visible to the Judge at all times.
3. The Show Committee shall be required to cancel or combine a class having less than 2 entries at entry closing time. Halter classes will be held regarless of the number of entries
4. No one shall approach the Judge with regards to a decision unless he/she first obtains permission from the Show Committee or Show Secretary who shall arrange an appointment with the judge at a proper time and place. No Exhibitor has the right to inspect the Judge’s cards without his/her permission. THE JUDGES DECISION SHALL BE FINAL IN ALL CLASSES.
5. The Show Committee reserves the right to refuse any entry because of the disrespect for the rules, intoxication, rough treatment of animals, or any other reason officials may deem reasonable cause.
6. Any exhibitor, agent, trainer or parent of a youth exhibitor making a protest shall lodge such protest with the Show Secretary in writing and signed by the protestor within 12 hours of the time of the cause of the protest. No protests shall be entertained by the Show Committee unless accompanied by a deposit of $250.00, which sum may be forfeited if the protest is not sustained. Protests shall be adjudicated by the Show Committee.
7. Order of work shall be drawn by the computer prior to classes which work individually. ORDER OF GO SHALL BE DRAWN IN ALL INDIVIDUALLY JUDGED CLASSES.
8. Please Note: For Appaloosa classes All exhibitors must be an ApHC member to show. The horses owner must also be a member of ApHC. If you don’t have a current ApHC card, you will be able to purchase one at the show.
1. Entries must be postmarked by: Opener May 21th and Finals July 23th, 2012. Post entries will be accepted only up to three (3) classes prior to the class to be entered.
2. All entries must be made on the official entry blanks furnished by the Show Committee and must be signed by the owner or authorized agent. Parents must sign for Youth exhibitors under the age of 18. Exhibitors are responsible for any errors on the entry blank. Presentation of signed entry blanks shall be deemed acceptance of these rules and in event of failure to sign the entry blank the first entry into the show ring as an exhibitor shall be deemed to be an acceptance of said rules.
3. No refunds shall be made on stall or entry fees without a signed veterinarian’s certificate. All claims for any entry or stall refund must be presented to the Show Secretary prior to the start of the show.
4. All exhibitors must present the original or a legible copy, front and back, of the registration papers at the time of entry for each horse shown. All horses, including current year foals, must be registered with the Appaloosa Horse Club, Inc. in the foundation, permanent, tentative or CPO registry. Horses must be entered under their full registered name and number.
NOTE: PHOTO COPIES OF BOTH SIDES OF ORIGINAL REGISTRATION PAPERS CAN BE SUBMITTED WITH YOUR ENTRY AND FEES. COPIES WILL BE RETURNED AT THE SHOW. ALSO, YOU MAY MAKE COPIES OF YOUR CURRENT ApHC MEMBERSHIP CARD, YOUTH CARD AND NON-PRO CARD.
Checks returned by the bank for any reason will be charged a $25.00 penalty and will be added to the amount due. Accounts will be given ten days to be paid in full with cash or cash equivalent or they will be turned over to the sanctioning organization and the person will be suspended from further shows here.

Performance Entry Fee $25.00 per class/2 Judges
Non-Pro Entry Fee $23.00 per class/2 Judges
Youth Entry Fee $17.00 per class/2 Judges
All Breed Entry Fee $15.00 per class/2 Judges

TALL TIMBER CIRCUIT
TTC OPENER – June 2-3, 2012 stall fee is $65.00. Stalls will be available Friday June 1st at 10:00 AM for move in. A $10.00 Haul In Fee per day for those horses not using a stall.
TTC FINALS – August 4-5, 2012 stall fee is $65.00. Stalls will be available Friday, August 3rd at 10:00 AM for move in. A $10.00 Haul In Fee per day for those horses not using a stall.
BAGGED SHAVINGS: - Tacoma Unit has had to transition to bagged shavings. You will receive 1 bag in your stall when arriving. Each additional bag is $9.00 each and you can purchase tickets or put them on your bill in the show office. You also have the option of bringing your own shavings.
HORSE HOTEL - If you will be on the grounds before June 1st or August 3rd or staying after June 3rd or August 5th please contact Shari Cupples to make arrangements. Horse Hotel is $20.00 per Horse or Tack Room per day that is opened prior to and after the show dates. If you are arriving early we will need a count of additional bags of shavings needed so we can have them available since
The show committee reserves the right to place horses as needed in the stalls. You may ask to be stabled near someone and we will try to accommodate that request the best we can. No horse shall be stabled until they have checked in with the Show Secretary and assigned a stall number.
